Ford Motor Company is an American multinational automaker that has its main headquarter in Dearborn, Michigan, a suburb of Detroit. It was founded by Henry Ford and incorporated on June 16, 1903. The company sells automobiles and commercial vehicles under the Ford brand and most luxury cars under the Lincoln brand. Ford also owns Brazilian SUV manufacturer Troller, an 8% stake in Aston Martin of the United Kingdom and a 32% stake in Jiangling Motors. It also has joint-ventures in China (Changan Ford), Taiwan (Ford Lio Ho), Thailand (AutoAlliance Thailand), Turkey (Ford Otosan), and Russia (Ford Sollers).

In 2015, BMW was the world's twelfth largest producer of motor vehicles, with 2,279,503 vehicles produced. BMW is headquartered in Munich and produces motor vehicles in Germany, Brazil, China, India, South Africa, the United Kingdom, and the United States. The registered company name is "Bayerische Motoren Werke AG". The Quandt family are long-term shareholders of the company, with the remaining shares owned by public float. BMW has significant motorsport history, especially in touring cars, Formula 1, sports cars and the Isle of Man TT.

Tesla also sells Powerwall and Powerpack batteries, solar panels, solar roof tiles, and some related products.
