Tokyo Tsushin Kogyo

Le 7 mai 1946, Ibuka a été rejoint par Akio Morita pour fonder une société appelée Tokyo Tsushin Kogyo (Tokyo Telecommunications Engineering Corporation). L'entreprise a construit le premier magnétophone du Japon, appelé le Type-G. En 1958, l'entreprise a changé son nom pour "Sony".
