Smartphones are now essential to our lifestyle, but this change wasn't an immediate transformation but a long way of small steps, some companies were leading these steps of change and crafted their name in the history of phones. This collection includes the history of Nokia, Samsung, Xiaomi, Apple, and more companies as they create their legacy of smartphones and formulate the smartphone era that we are living in right now. It is the world's 415th-largest company measured by 2016 revenues according to the Fortune Global 500, having peaked at 85th place in 2009. It is a component of the Euro Stoxx 50 stock market index.

One Plus Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd., commonly referred to as OnePlus, is a Chinese smartphone manufacturer, which is based in Shenzhen, Guangdong. It was founded by Pete Lau (CEO) and Carl Pei in December 2013. The company officially serves 34 countries and regions around the world as of July 2018. They have released numerous phones, amongst other products. It is currently majority owned by Oppo as its only shareholder, which is a subsidiary of BBK Electronics along with Vivo and Realme. However, both OnePlus and Oppo denies OnePlus is a subsidiary and maintain they are independent companies, although OnePlus confirmed it uses Oppo’s manufacturing line and shares part of the supply chain resources with Oppo.
