Mamluks - The Battle of Fariskur

Time: Wednesday Apr 6, 1250

Place: Faraskour, Damietta, Egypt

Details: The Egyptians followed them into the Battle of Fariskur where the Egyptians utterly destroyed the Crusaders on 6 April. King Louis IX and a few of his surviving nobles surrendered and were taken as prisoners, effectively ending the Seventh Crusade.
