Il 28 marzo 2015, Best Buy ha annunciato la chiusura della catena Future Shop in Canada; 65 delle sue 131 ex sedi sono state convertite in punti vendita Best Buy, mentre le restanti (principalmente quelle in stretta vicinanza a un Best Buy esistente) sono state chiuse definitivamente.
