Aaron Josef Hernandez (November 6, 1989 – April 19, 2017) was a convicted murderer and American football tight end for the New England Patriots of the National Football League (NFL). Hernandez's career came to an abrupt end in 2013 after his arrest and conviction for the murder of Odin Lloyd.
